On friday my friend was caught with about 2 pounds on him, being driven in his girlfriends car. He's been charged with 6 felony counts of intent to distribute, and according to him he's facing 75 years in jail. Additionally, his girlfriend is facing a felony for transporting it. He says he doesn't want to snitch on anyone, because it's how they caught him. Assuming he doesn't give up anyone, or give the police any more information, what kind of time is he looking at? He had a prior breaking and entering from when he was a minor, and this in in maryland.

Getting 6 felony counts of intent to distribute can only mean one thing, that dude was driving around with his stash broke down in seperate bags, the first thing any dealer needs to know is to never break their stash down, never.

What amount of time he gets is dependant on many variables some related to his criminal history, some related to the bust & more variables being attributed to case load & feverent prosecution from the state.

No matter what he's in some serioius shit, multiple bags makes it next to impossible for a lawyer to effectively dispute distribution charges, let this be a lesson to anybody reading this, one bag & one bag only.

75 seems a little much, I'd say that's an overexaggeration. But.... I will look it up on NORML (Marijuana Law Reform - NORML)

Example: In Indiana, the sale or cultivation of anywhere from 30g to 10lbs is 6 months to 3 years in jail and a $10,000 fine.

But go to the website, select your state from the dropdown list and check out the laws in your area. Haha, 75 years man... 10+lbs is a max of 8 years in Indiana so check that shit homie.

you dont need to be driving with pounds all at once period. if you went through the trouble of breaking it down at one location...dont take it all to the next at once.......space that shit out. dont know about you but i would rather get nabbed wit a few o's than a few pounds'''''''' thats my opinion.... I never moved pounds but back in the college days i didnt have as much gwap as i have today so i did mine to get that few extra hundo a week and smoke free. I got a pizza hut pizza case that delivery peeps use and i would tuk a qp in it zip it and you couldnt smell shit, i always had a hat to hahah lol, i still have that pizza hut hat.. those 2 items where the best things a college X could have ever left me:-) so if johnny law did pull me over i just got off work playa.

A dealer in MD wanted me to go with him to a festival a few states away. I was nervous about him driving with 2 elbows of Kief. So I made him go to the DMV so he would check his driving record and make sure he was legal. We made it to the show and back but its something I wont do again. Nuts

Md is mad sketchy everyone be safe!
Maryland is the place where they'll attempt to charge an entire party with misdemeanor possesion after they illegally came in through your back door and found leftover shake from the j that you rolled. That's maryland for ya.

Just as a little update, his house is within 1000 of some sort of learning center, which counts as a school zone in maryland. Up to an additional twenty years for that. Unreal
