I dont know very much about growing or anything guys. I got this baby and decided to keep it up. All i know about it is that its Grape Ape and I just planted it in that pot a month and a half to 2 months ago. I've been doing alot of research on how to take care of it and all, like watering and stuff. but as to how long its been flowering i really have no idea. Ill go take some detailed pictures right now and post within 10 mins. thanks

i would keep it inside all winter under cfl's and then put her out in the spring and by oct. you'll have lbs......if she is not in flower yet.
(depending on size)

Its ok, we all started somewhere. Just keep studying info, asking ?'s and practicing.
Basically, a plant has 2 stages, it will veg when there is enough light (over 14-16 hrs depending on strain) and it will flower with 8-10 (most strains require around 10 hrs) hrs of uninterrupted darkness.
Im going to guess that there is too much light for the plant to flower. I would suggest moving it to an uninterrupted dark area. U are going to need about 8 weeks to finish that thing... Does it freeze where u are at? If not, it should finish, but with less light and cooler temps than normal, so ield will suffer. No matter what, finish the plant, it will teach u a ton, because this willl not be your only problem. At the very least u get in a few months of practice growing in.

Should i leave it outside for the required sunlight and then bring it inside for uninterupted darkness? and just repeat that process everyday til its done? How many hours of sun should i give it everyday.

You're in NorCal and it's sunny up until the end of december?

where im at, last year it was a sunny, warm day on christmas, with only the smallest bit of wind chill.

but if it's warm for that long where you are, then hell yeah, you've got plenty of time bro!

Might take a while depending on your latitude. The further from the equator, the earlier flowering is triggered.

Has it been through a growth spurt lately? If it has it won't be long until it flowers, I find my plants tend to have a pre-flower growth spurt and a flowering spurt.

To answer the question, if you get a gram of smokeable bud, you should be happy, after all that's 1 gram of free bud you know the source of.

Good luck with the plant.

Definately should be going into flowering then. They tend to hit a sort of barrier of growth between vegetative and flowering, so you will likely be entering flowering. As soon as it's in full flowering mode it will shoot away.

LOL I don't know about that being a tomato plant.

What I do know is outdoors plants will go into flower before the daylight is 12 hours long and be in full flower by that time. Most start at about 13 hours.

Right now in Cali we are about 12/12 (I have outdoor as well as indoor grows)
From looking at your pics it looks to me like it is changing now, or trying to change.

It may be that because of the ambient light, the cars headlights and porch light that kind of thing that it is taking a little longer. You can try covering it with a burlap sack or something like that at night for the next week or so. I believe after that it should be OK in regards to uninterrupted light at night after it starts to flower.

What would you guys do if you were in my position? about how long to leave it in sun and all that.
Cruzer is spot on! I would move it to a darker spot outside and let it finish. Covering it every night is also an option, but if u can move it u dont have to worry about forgetting to cover it up. Also, u want to find a spot that has minimal shade from the sun, because of the shorter light period u want to utilize every ounce of light u can. If all goes well u should see atleast a couple oz's off her in 8-10 weeks.

When I read a couple of ounces from a slender plant that appears to be 18-24" tall I can't help but wonder if anyone guessing those numbers has ever dried an ounce of bud. No disrespect intended, just be happy with what you do get.
