How much smell from one plant

I have two pineapple express day 55 flowering that will stink the house up if the closet door stays open for longer then a couple of minutes. My carbon filter works because my attic don't smell at all. I found that keeping it cooler in the house, febreeze plug-ins, and lots of spray help mask the smell. Good luck with your grow.

I didn't have any serious smells. As you can see it was just a small plant. Once in a while I got a little whiff but that was about it. Although it ain't done yet

I had one lemon kush and an unknown bag seed, vegged both about 3 months both were between 1 & a half to 2 feet (after topping and everyday I came home from work just to smell it as I walked up my lawn to the door, I also used 4 26 watt cfls, had to see them go because I got too paranoid from neighbours :(

Man that is one tiny ass plant. CFL just won't cut it. Check out the DIY thread, one CXA3070 and you can grow a couple decent plants, maybe $100 for the light on passive cooling.

My 4x8 room runs on a carbon filter and keeps the smell under control even in full flower. The problem is when I harvest and trim outside the room. You can smell it for 50 feet or so. Luckily its CO and there's tons of commercial grows nearby so everyone is used to the smell.

get your single plant and your cfl's in some sort of box, plywood or cardboard or a cheap dresser or end table or mini fridge from craigs list, then go to the odor control thread, and look at some of the guys who have built super cheap carbon filters home made from simple items from walmart or target, using simple pencil holders and tape ect, and a cheapy PC fan will do, using the do it yourself filters with the activated carbon from fish tanks, you will have no smell , and you can change the filter out yourself ,, easy peasy,, have fun
