How Much Soil Do I Require?

Hello I have 3, 3 gallon smart pots so I am wondering how much soil would I require to fill these properly?
Will be using FoxFarm Strawberry Fields. Also wondering if anyone might know where to get this soil at the best price including shipping? Many places I tried were like $50 just for shipping.

Where are you located? Do you have access to Home Depot or Lowe’s? If so use pro mix bx.

Plus 3, 3 gallon pots won’t require much are you planning on growing start to finish in those? An what sort of seeds are you using regular or autos?

Thanks yes we have home depot and lowes here but I prefer to buy it online. Yes start to finish but starting in small plastic cups.. the seeds are regular feminized seeds. If anyone can tell me how many bags I would need that would be very helpful. I just don't want to buy 1 bag, pay high shipping and then find out I needed more than 1 bag of it. Thanks

Makes no sense why you would buy online when you have availability close. But it’s your call enjoy and happy growing.

well as far as I can tell those stores do not carry this product so I guess I don't have much choice really. Thanks yes hopefully it will be a smooth grow with not too many issues. Doing a 2 x 2.5 grow tent. Wish me luck, do you think 3 plants are doable in this space? It's Strawberry Kush which grows short so I figure I may be able to do 3 in my tent.. I hope..

Buy fox farm happy frog from blains farm and fleet, shipping is reasonable. Buy 3 bags and a bag of perlite and mix them all together. The extra left over will allow you to topdress them later on as needed.

I don’t see why the hang up on that particular soil. You are planning on feeding them right? Any fox farm soil, roots organic- greenfields or original will feed well for a month maybe longer then you’ll need to feed. Before I started building my own soil pro mix bx was my go to. There’s a reason nurseries use it. But with any of these soils you’ll be feeding at some point some soon some later.
