what soil are you using? Are you starting your plants from seed or are they clones? Dig deep holes they dont have to be very wide, but make them deep so the roots can grow downward.

But i mean the soil that i bought. Should i put in straight soil or should i mix it ahlf and half with the existing soil that i dug out of the ground?? I'm not sure what the soil is like yet where i'm planting but i do know its near a river that floods up in the beggining of the year so it should be full of nutes.

i have used straight potting soil and i have mixed it with existing. either way is fine. i guess it depends on how much soil you have and how big your hole is. :blsmoke:

guerrilla growing is not always easy and sometimes you have to work hard and pack in a shitload of soil if you want success. It really depends on the existing soil. Is it clay, soft, dense, loamy, well drained? If im transferring seedlings or clones from inside to outdoors to plant in the ground I start them in paper towel rolls packed with soil. This way they develop a long tap root. It helps em survive drought later on.

my soil is suppose to be really good because its olf farmland soil nut when i went to dig a hole to me it looked and felt like clay! whats the deal with that and is it okay to put 2 plants in 1 hole?

well clay will hold water but also be hard for the roots to grow threw... if u put 2 in 1 hole make the hole big/deep enuff to suport 2 root sytems and spred the plants out as they grow by tieing them down.. look for "LST" in the fourms
