Would love some input here in order to get a consensus on an average water weight loss. For me its approx 75% weight loss. Aka4 ounces wet i end up with once ounce dry.

Not really sure on this one, I think it would depend on a few things, especially whether or not the plant was well watered before the chop, or if the soil dried for a day or two prior. I can tell you Mushrooms are 90% water weight, but they've got to be in a humid environment right to the end otherwise problems arise... Your poll might have me pay more attention to before and after weights next harvest though!

Yep, 75% is about on the money.

A good formula is wet weight - 50% - 25% which of course leaves you with 25%.
100 grams wet = 25 grams dry.

I like the idea of mentioning last watering. That could def make a difference. I like to water before a chop so that my dryntime is longer. Thanks guys.

Who the fuck weighs wet bud? Not me.
Exactly, why bother. It's meaningless and a waste of time.

I'm a bit of a data whore in the grow room, using HOBO data loggers to capture as much info as I can. Though I did it on my first couple grows I really can't see any reason why this data has relevance.

But that's just me.

Well, the idea I guess would be to estimate the final weight or something.

with supercharged plants they,ll dry +to - 25% of original weight.. in an non- supercharged plant , they,ll dry to 15% of total weight, give or take ............... so, that,s 75% & 85% loss of h20 wetness .. this is proven fact ..

it,s all about experimenting , keeping logs & having fun .. it,s not all in just growing. myself personally, i have never done a grow without keeping a journal of everything, & i mean everything that i did for those plants.. if ever a fuck up , or something that turned out for the better, i can go back & check just what was done .. keeping a record is very, very important .. just my opinion ..
