how often can i foliar feed?

I asked a question not 2long ago about foliar feeding and everyone said that it was a waste of time. with that being said, the info i found on the net said to do it with a fine mist so it wont bead up. It is better to do it more often and use less rather than soaking the leaves. I would say once-twice week at the most. hopefully some of the experts will comment.
