Oh man i can second that, i just die a little inside every time my kids play there "music" What happened to the good old days when songs were a way to tell a story, whether it was rap or country or whatever it got a point across. Now all the damn music has less than 20 words that make no sense and repeat over and over again. Its a shame i tell you, my step daughter who is thirteen listens to the worst rap and hip hop i have ever heard, i told her to listen to one of my CDs and she thought it sucked. All that was on it was Notorious B.I.G. and some old bone thugs TuPac and Easy E and shit from my high school years. To bad, must be some thing to do with the fact that peoples brains are slowly melting, i guess that songs with content makes peoples senses overload, the minds of todays youth amaze me. All this and i am only 26. Sheeseyeah man i feel alot older,

usually i have no sympathy for older folks saying new music sucks. but in this case, it's true. nowadays it's more about how you look, more than how you sound. talent, real talent, seems to have become a thing of the past.
