I like to give them a hard time but in context it does make some sense.

Trump will push undecided voters away from the GOP for years to come once it all comes out.

It's not a good thing he was elected, but it sure will fuck Conservatives pretty bigly.

I think you may not be considering how competition in a free market provides the feedback to "police" bad actors and reward good service providers.
