How to Calabrate A ph pen

I just got my new ph pen and it says i need to calabrate with a special ph solution. The pen didnt come with any and i need to water now but have no idea what the ph is.
If i find a place to order will take at least 4 days plants will be dead.


Any ideas...

just a teeny tiny pinch in a gal of agua. what is the pen saying yer ph is now? Mine is so screwed its about 8.9 outta the faucet.

Whatever you do write it down! a log can help you "calibrate" a friendly ph.

The pen is brand new, never been used. Instructions say to calibrate before use so i dont know what my ph is. The pen reads 8.2 but isnt true because i have not calibrated yet. Have 3 day old seedlings which i used boiled water for watering and have them in 1 inch rockwool cubes.

Use a Tbl spoon of Hydrogen Perioxcide per gallon to keep water free of bad stuff, then let water sit for 24 hrs so chlorine leaves. Go to store and buy P.H. 7.0 its a solution that is set at 7.0 cleans your Ph meter and helps caliberate it. Just sit it in the solution and hit cal. it will cal. to 7.0 or close then hit the other button to keep cal. Simple really, leave your Ph meter in solution when not useing it.

I got that i need the solution. As i said i cannot get it for 4 days, as no shops near my house. My question was is there another way or how do i keep my seedling alive till then. Or should i just start all over in a weeks time
