how to continue feminized seeds in future generations.

Well, I ordered several fem seeds, and just unsure how to pass on the genetics to produce more plants in future

I currently will be maxed out for plant capacity, 100% legal MI grow, and don't want to go over and keep mothers around

I am just wondering about seed production and how I can ensure that I get some seeds or someway to pass on the genetics
I realize the seeds probably won't be fem aswell, but at least will have someway to keep strain alive

So, when I harvest, can I leave a few buds of lower growth on to over ripen and develop seeds or what are my options

Thank you for your time!

Well you don't have any males in your garden right? The only thing you can really do is stress the plants and casue them to hermie either by manipulating the light cycle or applying chemicals so you can get pollen. If your growing for smoke I recommend justcloning or buying some new seeds cause you'll have to sacrifice yeild and potency at least. If you had a male you could collect pollen from it and pollinate some of the branches or you could just let the male flower with the females for breeding.

Hmmm I was under the impression that if I pollinated with a herm plants pollen, the seeds would have very high chance of following in the path and turning out herm.

I was thinking about the acid to produce male flowers and doing that but that seemed a little too advanced for me unless I could follow a nice easy walk through, I wouldn't want to risk screwing up an entire smoke

My whole garden is female and have 5 different strains and no more seeds for one strain, and its just entering the 12/12 cycle and really want to keep the strain alive
I was thinking maybe pull it out of flower and re veg, and maybe try the acid to get a few pollen sacks, then just pollinate like 1/2 the lower growth so I would get a bunch of seeds to last a while?
Idk what to do that's all

I wouldnt even consider using femmed seed in a breeding project. Regardless of how much I like the strain.

IMO, Since most femmed seeds are created through self pollination by hermaphroditism that is either stress or chemically induced, the herm gene is almost certainly present prior to the stress. Therefore, it leads to the conclusion that this herm trait would be passed on to the F1 line.

Breed from reg seed and save yourself the trouble of herman's balls showing up 6-8 weeks in.

thank you CK... i think it is a little too late for me anyways this grow, so i guess i'll have to shell out the money again and get some non fem seeds if i want to produce a lot of seeds
