How to control plant height?

I am on my second grow an a small box and I can't figure out how to control the plant height. I am growing under 6 27watt cfl's and I tried 12/12 from seed. I switch from a mixture of bulbs to all 27k @ 4 weeks. They have been flowering for 6 weeks now and I still don't have buds, just the pistils everywhere. The girls are really starting to get huge and I don't know how to stop it. The last time I have to add another foot in height to my box. How do you grow and flower them in a pc case when I can't even do it in a 33" tall box?:clap::clap:

if u werent going from seeds u could clone under 12/12 and no veg cuz genetically if the mothrr plants mature so are the clones. i tried this on 8 plants my last grow they were 10 Inch tall planys w/ massive colas i did it on the side of my others. best bet theres also something my hydro store recommened ask your local store theres a concoction they sell i forget the name.

There are many ways to keep your plant smaller and low stress training is one. Take my grow for example, for one of my plants I topped it and used lst.

I am LST one of my girls the other I was going to top but it is too late. I just don't understand how people are done in 9 weeks or so when I am at 10 weeks now and don't even have buds forming yet.

Because you aren't growing their strain.

As far as your height problem ....Go down about 18" on the main cola branch and bend it all the way over and tie it down. It doesn't hurt the plant and will form a knuckle where you bent it. It's known as super cropping. I did this when my plant reached 4 feet tall.

I'll have to take a pic of it tomorrow when the lights come back on. Also, what do you mean by - you don't have buds? Don't you have trichomes forming on the flowers yet?

dude, you do understand that you have to change your light cycle to get buds right?! (hope so) Also, there is a method called "super cropping" ive only done i once was on the first plant i ever grow, all you do is take the main stem like that other dude was saying and instead of tieing it down, break it, kinda bend it wit your fingers and snap that fucker, if you go on youtube and search super crop you can find vids man...But personally i like LST cause you can get multiple tops and not top your plant, all you do with LST is start bending it over, tie one string around the stock and about the base to support it and then another around the top and bend that bitch ova...then when more lil branches start to grow you pull tho out and put them where you wanna have em...make a nice lil ring of buds when its all said and done
