How to feminize lowrider 2 seeds

How do I feminize lowrider 2 seeds naturally without useing the acid method. Ive heard that i should flower my female plant 2 weeks longer then normal to stress her out. Then she will grow ball sacks and I collect that pollen and pollenate a female plant of the same strain. But how do i stress out a lowrider autoflowering plant. They autoflower so is there any way to keep them from finishing up to soon so that i can make them herm out or whatever?

Hey greenearth, figured id put my two cents in. As far as naturally feminizing your seeds ive heard of hormone solutions you can use to soak the seed in but the cheapest and most effective way ive come across is the banana peel method. You take a banana, peel it, wrap the peels in paper towels, and place them in a bag with the seeds you wish to feminize. Open the bag every 2-3 days to allow new air in, change the banana peels every 4 days, and do this for about 8-12 days straight. The longer you do this the higher chances for females. Id wrap the seeds as well, you dont want to start germinating by accident or before the process is complete. The process takes place as the banana peels rot, producing a hormone known as ethylene. This hormone is what feminizes the seeds and is also found in the liquid solutions i talked about earlier. I proved this to myself on my last grow; 4 white widow seeds and 4 bagseed put in for 9 days and 6 came up female. Would have left them in for longer if it werent for time constraints. Hope this helps...

BALLLLSSSSS!!!! Just like smoking a banana skin will do nothing that will do nothing. Feminised seeds are made by using gibberelic acid or something similar to force 100% female plants to hermie giving 100% female seeds. Im not sure but I dont think you can change the sex of the seed.

For sure, ill have to check it out. As far as posting results i actually have a purple widow seed i put through this to get a solid mother plant to clone off of for a SOG. Just germ'd her too so we'll see how it goes. Plan on makin a journal for this one so keep an eye out for it.

Rory, i agree with you that they use this method to produce female seeds but if you could not change the sex of the seed than you wouldnt have any reason to forceably hermie a plant out, would you? Just as you can affect a plant to naturally produce female seeds you can chemically affect the seeds to produce the same results...its all about the environment of the seed and how its created...not tryin to argue just defending my position....

dude feminizing seeds is not done after a seed is produced, male plant = x & y chromosomes female = x & x. the point of making a female plant produce a "male" flower is because it only contains the x chromosome, no y. when it produces a "male" flower the pollen only contains x chromosomes.... no y.
