Over exaggerated? lol. Come drink a bottle of our tap water and let me know how you feel about 10-20 minutes later. Guarantee you're gonna feel like shit and be dehydrated to the point of migraine. Nobody in my town drinks the tap water. It's over chlorinated so we all just use Brita filters. The town where I live has had problems over the years with too much chlorine in the water, so idk. I'm still not giving it to my plants.
Will a water filter take out the cloramine where I dont have to buy ro water?

Or let the water sit in pales for a while 3 days or longer should do it if there even is chloramine. Whats your taps ppm?
Just got a meter a couple days ago. I checked it but now I can't remember. Somewhere around 100 I think. I will check it when I get home today. What is a good acceptable range so I will know. I have 1 dwc and 1 coco and 1 in soil. I was thinking abaout using the tap instead of ro water.

The right filter will. Not some novelty silver bullet placebo Brita pos. Use standard 2.5 10" housings,as many as you can chain together. The most expensive block in my manifold is flouride. Carbon blocks are cheap. Waterfiltersonline.com

Mine is 40 thankfully. Anything over 175 to 200 i would get a filter. U can still use the water but just make sure your not over 850 ppms after nutes. If you r water it down. Remember less is more. Dont go under 500 , plants will throw balls if stressed and overnutes is a stressor.
