Yep no response from anyone Demitri, AR's are so ridiculously Gay!! Nice the way you layed everything out though... I hate to say it is your lack of a grasp on english that is your deepest failure... Seriously man up learn the language and then try to offend me.If I knew your language I am sure I would be so offended I would snap!! but your feeble grip on the dominant language of the world has me tripping and stumbling over your posts. Some advice.move to a country where your less worried about owning an assualt rifle and more able to purchase good soil and lights, and also a reliable electricity source that wont fuck up your plants.Eat it Demitri, if you can't play with the big boys, well do what you can...Noz derovdya

Hey OP,

Here's how I've done it.

1) Soak rockwool in water for about 5 minutes. Shake dry, do not squeeze.
2) There will be a little hole on one side of the cube. I use a chopstick to open it up a little, but no not make it deeper.
3) Drop seed in hole. Gently pinch the opening closed, or pull a little rockwool from the side of the cube and fill the hole. You're not locking the seed in there, but closing up the hole so no light gets in.
4) Put cube under a gentle CFL -- 70 degrees is a nice temp for sprouting.
5) Keep CFL on for about 18 hours of the day
6) Seed should sprout in 4-5 days at 70 degrees.
7) Lift the cube every day. When it feels a little light, water from the bottom of the cube by sticking it on a place with water. Allow water to come up halfway on the side of the cube. That's it.
8] Keep air flowing around the cube to keep the top side dry so you don't get damping off disease.
9) Once the sprout starts coming up, it should take about 5 days to see a root poking through the bottom of the cube. When you do, it's time to put into your DWC, and you're off to the races!

You do not need to ph the water until you start adding nutes, which won't be for at least 2 weeks.

Good luck!

View attachment 3302308 I am propagating with root riot cubes and this new DWC dome equipped with a heating mat, air pump, and air stone. My question is how long should my seeds stay in there before transplanting & even though there's an air stone, I'm concerned that the root riot cubes are 1/3 submerged in water in the tray.

I don't mean to hijack the thread, but just thought you all could help.

Many Thanks!
