Hello fellow growers, getting ready to build a mother plant cab and first time using mylar. I was going to use a spray adhesive to get a good clean look, but am worried that the spray will cause fumes that may be toxic to the plants later down the road. Am i ok using this spray? its made by elmers. I did not want to use tape because the mylar will rattle when the fans turn on. +Rep for any suggestions :weed:

...^^^ what connerbrown said. Mylar is the expensive route, but...if you got it, use it. I cut small cardboard squares, then staple through the cardboad....or duct tape always does the job.

White paint may not be as reflective as mylar but it will get the job done. But as far as reflective material i bought that shit @ home depot that is foil insulation like 50 a roll with plenty for future use & just staple it with a good gun.

use double sided tape get it as tight and flat as you can do it once do it right..you can also use a piece of thpe and stapel gun..use tape then stapel or it will tear

I do what beardo does, I use like 2 or 3 layers of packaging tape then staple through it. I use black and white poly now though, I heard mylar makes hot spots and the black and white poly comes 10' wide, which is much easier to hang, its also 1/5 the price

No foil creates hot spots. Mylar is made for growing because it doesn't make hot spots and it reflects more lights.
But I measure it out and cut up cardboard and staple the cardboard to that then staple the cardboard to the inside. Just depends on how big the space is.

The best way I found to hang mylar is with the same nails that they use for shingling a roof, They are nails with a great tab on them so they don't rip the material. The work great to hold the mylar and won't rip it if it gets a little tug. I used the spray glue and it help put the mylar in place but after a while it refused to hold. Not to mention i hand glue mist in my sinus's for days.
Good luck
