so seems i gotta get my shit togther and HIDE a door at my grow house, for security and other reasons,

its a internal walk in closet and the doors ther already so that saves a job, im thinking of a way to hide this door but still use it,obviously,

my inital thought was a wardrobe in front, but thats naff, then i thought a book case? again naff,

so now im thinking of taking of the pretruding door frame making it level to the wall, but from ther im stumped>?
i could wallpaper sum patterned wallpaper on the wall hiidng iit but the contant use of the door would fuk it up.
or im thinking get sum thin ply and cover the door to about a 3rd from the bottom meaning id have to hands and kness get in ther each time, hassle,

ive tried looking but just find hidden passageways.com and al the rest,, im not intrested in speding 6k to hide 1 door!.

so thoughts,ideas?

hey,

When I grew in my cupboard I hung a thick drape, one that would go over the wall, and not just the door ,so it just looks like the room has drapes on the walls.

Guess it a bit cheaper to hang drapes than to spend 6k on hiding a cupboard Im sure if you did it well, say hang drapes on the other walls first and maybe have a poster or two on the drapes it will look like the rest of the room.
Sorry if its not the best idea, but it could do until you go and learn some joinery skills,,

Remodeling your house especially the bathroom is a great idea. If you are ready to give your bathroom new fresh look, you should make sure that you get internal glazed doors that are readily available in the market. Another design that you can also go for is the internal fire doors.

^. WTF? How did I end up on home improvement forum?

A couple suggestions (and pleae note you don't provide pictures)
The big problem is A. The seam of the door B. the molding C. Different color

A poster mounted to cardboard on the upper and light bookshelves screwed to te door on the lower. The cardboard poster and bookshelf will move with the door) the hinges and door must be solid

Curtains would e good

A big fucking stupid hippy ass fabric mural. ( cheapest)

If you do rig up something DIY and want a slick hidden hold-back latch, I have used electromagnets that are made for holding fire doors open. They grip like a vise when power is applied, then let go when the circuit is interrupted. They are pricey if new, but I found a couple surplus ones on ebay for like 25 bucks.

we are currently building something like that on our room!

The door is painted the same color as the wall. Its a steel door with heavy hinges so we screwed a shelving unit to it that overhangs the one side of the door. when you open the door the shelving unit, and everything on the shelf comes along for the ride.

Just don't slam the door!!
