How To Keep a Mother?

I've got a couple of female plants in veg that I'd like to keep till next spring. Is that possible without them getting too big? The reason I want to keep them is that they are clones of a female african sativa, whose seeds I brought over from Mozambique. Anyone know the proper technique to keep them alive and short? Mama was damn tall.

You could flower it or them then reveg or just take a bunch of clones before you flower it. I'm doing more reveg inside now and them moving the revegged plants outside. The results are fantastic with so many bud sites. If you are worried about them getting to tall just top them.

just take some clones off it and have those be your new mothers.....by next spring they will be more than big enuff to pull some clones off of..!
