I have a standard 8 foot ceiling with that stucco stuff covering it. I'm not too familiar with mounting lights - how do I do this?

Thanks

Get them special umbrella type inserts at lowes or home depot, and then screw your fastener in em :)

Wish I knew the exact name of that item, They are usually plastic... ummmm

They're generally called wall anchors. That's what I'm using for my set up. You can get them at any hardware store. But if you can put them into studs that would be much better. I could not use studs because it would have put everything off center.

or run a 1x4 or 2x4 ( need bigger screws) run it accross your ceiling and youll be able to put urlightsanywahere

I'm looking for info on how to mount a vertical bulb without a reflector (just the socket). I need it to hang a few feet down from the ceiling but i'm stumped on how to mount it properly. Any ideas?

Yeah I considered that but I just got a cheap bat wing reflector and It can't weigh more than cpl of lbs. So I just went with the wall anchors. It should be fine.

idk bro
but these stadium vert grower have gat to have a lot of burns
Fdd did a grow just like this, i think he did good but he says he didnt like the out come , but it was his first go at this style
im thinking if you leave room around the back of the stadium, for walking and maybe a step stool, and if you rig the lights on a pully system, granted you have a high enuff ceiling you could ezly get in and around each row of plants

I don't know how your setup is but in my 8w x 12L x 8h I ran a an 8 foot long piece of 3/4 inch electrical conduit centered across ea 8 foot ebb and flo table. It was supported on ea wall with some support brackets I made. Now I can hang my lights from them and have the option of being able to slide them to the left or right if I have to. Cause once you put any type of hook in the ceiling, your pretty much locked in as to where your light hangs.

just ordered a few of these and I have to say they are freakin awesome!

super heavy duty with a built in hanger, I just wire chain to it and mount into a stud in the ceiling...now I feel safe :)
