I got some CBD e-juice and the effect is a noticeable drop in my pain levels. Takes the edge off the joint pain nicely first thing in the morning and doesn't fog my head up. Already foggy enough! :D

:peace:

Same. My thing is the 1:1 ratio (buds, oils, edibles whatever) of THC:CBD. Makes the "high" that much more enjoyable and really has a synergistic effect with the THC. Also noticeable pain level decrease. Use the pure CBD when I need to be at work and not have a lethargic mind. It works but IMO you need a bit of THC too (even if it is like 99CBD:1THC ratio).

ah,,,,well.......
the amount of cbd in most things you get are minimal if you have a look. dont always believe what you see on a label.
The idea is sound The actual effect is up to the individual.

A full extract is the best IMO
people get all wrapped up in this CBD craze and to tell ya the truth and ya probably dont want to hear it...Its watered down snake oil to be exact.

theres just way more to this deal folks..

please...find me some pure CBD made from cannabis and not hemp ;)

Lots of strains now with various levels of CBD. The OTTOs I have are supposed to be only 1% THC and up to 27% CBD.

:peace:
unless it is tested every plant...you cannot say that and I doubt what youve said as well
not you..just what ive read over the years as this came out

Obviously I won't know the exact amounts of CBD in any plants I grow but when you look up OTTO#1 on the web it says the range is 10-27% CBD and just 1% THC. That's what I had read about them and what the guy that gave me the seeds said about them. Just found an interesting write up about them at a seed site. This may be a different version than the ones I have.

Otto #1 ~ A high-CBD seed line developed in Colorado

Cross Info: Improved Hybrid
Relief without the distracting effects of THC.
Quantity: 14 seeds
Flowering Time: 70 days
I originally developed this seed at the request of a medical researcher on Oahu, Hawaii. The request was for replicable high CBD expression from a gender-stable seed. Now in its second generation, the Otto #1 seed is greatly improved.

Otto #1 produces two gross chemotypes, Type III, which is CBD dominant with some plants exceeding 40:1 ratios and Type II mixed types which express CBD and THC in roughly a 1:1 ratio.

The plant exhibits textbook hybrid vigor and is easy to grow. It is recommend that Otto #1 is appropriate for those patients seeking relief without the distracting and sometimes overwhelming effects of high-THC strains.

Without lab testing I'll have to do it the old fashioned way. Smoke that bud and judge by effect. If I get one that has lots of resin but barely gets me high then I can be pretty sure that a lot of that resin is CBD. I'm sure I can tell if it's something like a 1:1 from the effect. I just finished the last of the cocobudder I made with 10g of Sweet Skunk CBD I bought out in BC. It was lab tested at 12/7, CBD/THC and worked great for my joint pain with 24 hour relief from a tsp of the 20:1 cocobudder. I would like a higher CBD ratio so I can take larger doses without getting so high.

That buddy also sent me beans for crosses he made with the OTTO. Otto x Cannatonic and Otto x (Cannatonic x Herijuana). Samples of bud from those as well. Very mellowing both of them and a nice toke before bed.

If I find what I think is a great CBD plant I'll try to get it lab tested so I know what I'm dealing with and as long as I keep a mom and grow clones off it I can be fairly confident that the ratios will remain close to what the test results were.

I'm wondering if I could start my own little testing lab. Strictly for THC and CBD testing. No terps or pesticides etc. Would be a nice side-line and it's not that hard to get certified on the equipment I don't think. Already have a diploma in chem so that should help.

It's got 20:1 CBD:THC. It's one of a few strains that have such a high ratio, got nothing against it in particular... It contains at least 5% THC at that ratio.

As I said earlier my contention is that you need the THC in the CBD even at a 99:1 ratio as it is synergistic in effect so you need both.

Thanks

Believe it is the flavoring not the propylene glycol that causes PL. Propylene glycol is used in asthma inhalers and the lead time on that testing is pretty safe.

when I used to vape tobacco it was unflavoured propylene glycol 70/30 (30 vegtable glycol) base nicotine mix. that is the only thing I ever vaped. Then I quit forever. Things are so much better now that I am no longer a slave.
