this is some outdoor shit.no idea what ph is but thanksfor the advise

I got you dude, PH is the acidity of the water, so you more times than not want to bring the ph down… As you grow a little more you will get the hang of it. When the PH is lower it is easier for the plants to suck their food up, so it is important to pay attention to. Good luck dude.

Lower the humidity drastically, like to 35 Rh, this is supposed to increase resin production on the plant.

Mixing in some "bluer" light (6700 K CFLs or MH Light) during the last few weeks of the flowering cycle should also give better quality marijuana. There was an article

about this subject, sorry I can't find it, but it said that the quality of the bud and the smoke is MUCH better and worthwhile because cannabis doesn't exactly grow on

the last few weeks of its life, it "ripens" it's buds and THC (something of that subject) and the "redder" light doesn't provide the required spectrum of light for it to

ripen to that its true potential. I recommend you lower your humidity and throw in some mixed lighting, they say red spectrum lighting is best for your plant at flowering state, actually, if your want top quality bud, you should have mixed lighting.

Cheers :)

Really?! I never know what to do with my BBQ's charcoal ashes. This sounds good! Just had a BBQ, and my plants just started flowering a few days ago!

spakdacrip, a good water PH is between 5.5 and 6.5, good PH is crucial for good results, you can buy a simple PH tester kits at your local hardware store or grow shop if you have any. the fact that your usin bottled water might be saving your but since they probaly already balanced it too around 6, but you still might be able to improve on it.. get a checker, see what it is, if its 7 or over buy some PH down Acid, if its under 5.5 buy some PH up Base. Happy Growing

ash should be from wood and fine screened, all you want is the white powder form, hummuidity should be as low as 20, nutrients and micro nutrients are what feed your plant so if their green and healthy that means they have all the food then can take up, thiers already micro nutrients in your dirt and dirt tends 2 hold your nutrients well. if you over feed them you can damage them.over fertilizing and under watering can stress the plant into flowering. out door growing does not need 2 be phd because most water is already a stable 7 and thats what it should be when using dirt period. fertilizers can also alter your ph, buds get sticky because they want 2 catch some pollen, the longer they try 2 get pollen the longer your tricomes get and the more sticky she gets. its called weed for a reason. nutrients can help your buds and growth but think fruit trees get fruit and all u need is water.. just good water and dirt. strain is really important because these plants were bred 2 be what they are, u get what u grow, weeds good any way if its just grown properly. certain strains grow better then others, faster, bigger, stronger!! the roots are jjust as important as the plant itself. good thread n thanks everyone who made it worth while 2 cheak out this thread. hope this helps. btw i do not use molases but i just bought a bottle of flouronectar fruint n fusion sweetener..0-0-1, i would image it works the same. granulated cane sugar is also a great substitue.

More like certain types of wood. Also, about 1/4 of ash is calcium carbonate. So adding too much can really throw things off.

yeah they might die off if they got effected by your nute lock too much, if thats what was goin on, either that or you had abit of an overdose of sulphur like we were talkin about before. but its okay dude lots of my yellow leafs died off too. aslong as more leafs dont startt turnin yellow you should be okay.. and for the record some strains of weed turn yellowish i had a strain last year that was a yellow and that was perfectly healthy lol it was green to start but as it matured it yellowed even with shit loads of nitrogen but the laefs didnt curl or anything so who knows. if your problem persists, flush ur plant with plenty of fresh luke warm water, cold water will put ur plant into shock, its usually better to let the water sit out for awhile.. you dont have to use bottled water, even tap water can be ph balanced too. but you wont know until you get a PH tester which you should get if you intend on growing more.. but yeah just flush em with lots of water, get black strap molasses if ur gonna use any, and ur plant should clear up.. let it compeltely dry out then water again with fresh water and then water right after that with some nutes and see how it does..if its in bud then flush it and do the same with thing but use bud nutes.. put some pics up

haha sounds like your missing iron and maybe a few other micro nutrients. put cheleted iron on your soil and it should green up in a few waterings.
