How to use an LED?

Agreed. It'll work as a veg light for a couple of plants but it doesn't have enough power to create light levels for flowering for more than a single 'small' plant.
I suspect that quite a few growers have started with fixtures like yours-I have 3 of them working as clone/veg units.

They work good for holding doors open that wont stay open. And they veg decent. They hold paper down like nobody's business. But the best way to use them, is to set them in your closet and buy a new light.

Give it away on CL. If you try to sell it, karma will haunt you forever.

Upgraded from 165W (actual draw) blurples to 560 240W QBs two days back.

Have both dialled down to 165W. Plants are drooping around the 14 hour mark. With the blurples they would droop mostly in the last hour before lights out. Hanging height is 24 inches, should I raise the lights or leave them as is?

Plan on flipping this week.

Please help.

It's blue/purple, like the one you linked. Almost all grow lights on amazon are blurples from China. We call them disco lights. ;) They are old tech and not very efficient. For flowering, around 50 watts per square foot is recommended for blurple and HPS. For high efficiency, white LED, 30 watts/foot will do well. They are much more expensive though. For those on a tight budget, I think screw in led bulbs are better, if you can do some DIY. People put a few sockets on a board and screw in several 10 or 15 watt LED bulbs.

These are a few very good brands of LED.
