How you can use a carbon filter

Ive seen a lot of set ups of people who use carbon filters and they always have them horizontal, i am in the process of startin my own op and was wonderin if you can place them vertically as well? and if the are as effective?? thanks for your responses

also you guys got any idea of how many plants id be able to or should grow in a space 1'8"(deep)x3'6"(wide)x5'6"(high)

mines is vertical. and im still totally amazed with the performance,not 1 terpen leaves my cubard lol

Mine is vertical, basically just sitting upright on the floor. It works great and there have been no problems. Some people mount them horizontally to get them off the floor and out of the way, that's all.

as long as it's tubed to a ventilator it doesn't matter where/how you place it.

I prefer to hang it up horizontally so I have more space to work with my babies :weed:

instead of sucking air through it can you push or exhaust the air through it? like have the air your takin out of the box blow out of it rather than have it in the box and suck the air through it?
