My friend and i put out some plants to get some practice in for this coming springs grow and i just wanted to ask if this is how a sativa dominant plant should look for this time of year. we put the plants out in early august (yes we no its late) so they arent very big but that is expected. I only have a couple pics of the better looking plant. so take a look and let me no if everything is going well. i live in northern jersey so consider the 40 degree weather wen looking at them. thanks.

i gave it a little a couple weeks ago but the soil was supplying it for the entire growth so i didnt know wether to give it nutes since its getting late in the grow season. but ill give it another half dose to see what happens. shud i use flowering nutes or veg? i no that sounds dumb but flowering nutes are low in N from my understanding.

bloom.there low in N because N helps promote leaf development which is what you dont want.leafy bud. P helps promote the buds. You can feed 3x outta 4 with nutes as long as you arent @ the end then you need to flush/leach. so if you water once a week feed 3x a week 4th time just water to make sure you dont get a nut. build up in the roots.

I mean, they are small, and they look sad, but they are plants and that's saying something. At least you're learning as you go and not expecting the world.

They do look about 3 or 4 weeks from either being done or dying from the cold.

dvan ok then ill just feed it a bit. and once i get to the end ill flush and see what happens. crash yea i figured. sativas dont seem to finish where i live. I either need a indica dominant or auto to get a good harvest. But they may not seem happy because we didnt expect these plants to do to well so we didnt take the best care of it cause we were in the mind set of, hey lets plant some seeds and see what happens. but it cant hurt to try. =)

edit: i just checked and the first frost in my area is november 20th so just 1 day under 3 weeks. have you heard of sativas being able to go into mid november outdoors?
