hps and mh ballast help

okay guys heres the deal hope someone can help. i buoght 2 100w mh lamps and 2 400w hps lamps but i dident know i had to have a ballast. is their anyway i can run these lights without buying the whole ballast setup. thanks

the answer is no, you gotta have a ballast to power these lights, both mh and hps are totally unlike standard house light, they both need a 'boost' to get started and only the ballast provides that. sell your 2 mh bulbs and buy a 400 watt mh with switchable ballast(this means the ballast will work both mh and hps). use the mh for veg and hps for flower, u could also sell the extra hps bulb if ur shorta cash but i'd keep it coz its alway handy to have a spare.

no ballast = fire
ballast not matching wattage = fire
fire = dangerous
dangerous = danger
danger - d = anger
anger is what u need to control son cuz ur attitude needs to be checked

lol dude my bad i didnt mean to be a jerk or anything my mind just wondered off but i did say no ballast = fire n ballast not matching wattage = fire i thought dat was good info sorry for ur troubles
