hps/mh ballasts, do I need a conversion bulb?

Can I use a regular MH bulb on this as well? OR do I have to buy a MH conversion bulb?

You can't use a regular Mh bulb, something about the way it starts up. You might try getting a swithchable ballast which does take regular MH bulbs.
