I'm fairly new at posting here but have been lurking for a couple of months.

I wanted do a journal but realized I am already started but I guess it is never too late to start.

A little background. I've been growing outdoors for a couple of years but got into indoor growing almost year ago. I've got 2 grows under my belt now. I grow completely organically and have been using the BioBizz line from Alg A Mic to Root Juice. Pretty much everything they make. I also use CaMg+ since they don't make that. I'm not big on following directions based on such and such ml per litter. I use 3 5 gallon buckets of water about every 5 days to water. I normally use 1-3 cap fulls of Bio Grow/Fish Mix, Alg A Mic, Bio Heaven, Root Juice, And 3 Caps of CaMg+ in each bucket. Never really had any issues. I normally look at my babies and see how their doing and decide what I think they should get based on how they look. This leaves my pots with a little drainage after water. I'm also using FFOF soil.

Setup.

4x4' Tent
9 x 5 Gallon felt grow bag/pots
2 x 450 Watt G8LED
2 x 90 Watt All red LED UFO Not branded.
1 x 600 Watt G8LED
2 x 52 Watt T5's

Total power draw on all the lights is 902 +/- 2 Watts using a Kill A Watt meter

Plants
6 x Blue Dream clones
3 x Agent Orange Clones

These were taken after about 4 weeks of vegging once the clones were moved into those pots

04/29/13
Plants were topped and cleaned up. I removed small branches around the bottom and inside to allow for better air flow and lighting

I realize I should take some pictures in Normal white light. I'll do that for my next update.

Let me know what you guys think.

peace.

Umm around $2100 I guess. Never really added it up. I only really got the one 600 watt and two 90 watt lights for that tent. Did my last grow with that and it was great. But I had the extra 450 Watt from a 20x36" tent that I put a shelf in the middle of. Two 450 watts was too much light and couldn't move them up enough so it was burning the leaves with light. So I decided to move those into the big tent and see how it would go. Does get a little hot in there I have a 420 CFM fan bringing new air in but since my room is warm and its hot outside I'm getting 93f in there. Might turn those two T5's off since those are hot to the touch but the LEDs seem to be putting off most of the heat. Definitely one of the main problems with LED is the cost of entry.

Why are all G8LEd posts and threads by members with very few posts? And no finished grows?

Let's see some finished grows yo!! With the G8LED.
Already replied to you in that other thread... Have finished 2 grows already. If never thought the lights were good why would I buy more? They're not exactly cheap and I am not made of money. I am in no way connected to them. Just believe they make a good product with high end diodes and offer more spectrums of light than any other company I have seen on the market. Feel free to follow this grow or the party cup sog I'll be doing in a couple of weeks when I have rooted clones.

Update
05/03/13

Just watered them all with water with 1 cap Alg-A-Mic, 1 cap root juice, and 2 caps CaMg+ with a ph of 6.0

Took off a few little branches that tried to regrow and removed a few leaves

IMG_20130503_141654.jpgIMG_20130503_141807.jpgIMG_20130503_141754.jpg

Its been really hot here lately so I need to start watering them more often. Trying to keep the tent around 90 but that is hard to do when its 87 and no AC. Should be fine for vegging. I am going to switch to 12/12 on Monday I am thinking. Moved the lights up today as well and will most likely keep them at that level to reduce stretching but will no doubt have to raise them because of that. Normally I run my lights during the day because of our solar system but since it is so warm I'm going to switch to running them at night and that should help a lot.

Update: About week 6 Flower

Sorry for not updating this more but its been a crazy busy last month and a half and I kind of forgot about this thread.

So last night I cleared dead leaves and branches and since these things were falling all over the place I put them into tomato cages. I'm thinking I'll be using cages from now on out since it still allows me to move the plants around while a scrog grow wouldn't.

Here are the latest pictures. I have to pull on the 16th of July no matter what because I am moving. The Blue Dream will probably be done or almost done by then but the Agent Orange looks like it will need to go longer. I might consider moving them in large boxes but I haven't decided yet.

This is the blue dream

This is the Agent Orange

This is of everything

Everything is looking good. Definitely learned some things during this grow and from Roll It Up. Next time I will be topping above the 4th node so I get 4 main stocks and I will top those above the 4th or 5th node and remove the inside branches this will give me a total of 16-20 Main stocks.

UPDATE: Last Week of Flush

I just did a full flush. Last week I watered them with just water and last night I flushed about 60 gallons of water through them. They still have one more week to go before I chop them. I'd probably go two more if I wasn't moving but they are definitely ready to go as is.

I have come to the conclusion that I didn't need even close to this much light. Next time I'll just be running the two 450 Watts and the two 90 Watt all reds for flowering. They'll be moving into a 4.5x4.5' tent. I will be using the 4x4 tent for veg. I'll keep the two T5s and the 600Watt for vegging. The benefits of move space after moving.

I got some decent size buds but I think doing some proper training and better lower level trimming I can get the size up even move.

This is a 18oz cup

Here is some of the full tent.

This is of one of the Agent Orange buds. They are way in the back so I was kind of lazy on taking pictures while almost falling over reaching.

Overall I'm pretty happy with this round. I've definitely increased my yield since last time by doing better training and trimming. Next time I feel like I'll be getting even more.

Let me know what you guys think.

Didn't really notice much benefit adding the two 450Watters. Seems about the same as my last run just with better training and I used a lot bigger pots. Went from 2 gallon to 5 gallon. I'm thinking a lack of light wasn't holding me back before. But yeah it was cool to try it out and see what it would do. I'm really excited to get my setup running in the new place and see what I can produce with better training.
