HSO Black D.o.g kush, Kings Kush, and probably more.

Decided to just do a journal. This is my 3rd grow and im still ironing out the noob in my growing, so some helpful guidance would be appreciated.

Just finished a Dutch passion blackberry auto, trans Siberian, and auto Colorado cookies grow. I'll start off with the end of those and then onto the new ones mentioned in the title!

My medium is Rockwool, my nutes are floranova and my additives are xtreme azos and mykos.

Let's begin!

So this is the trans Siberian. I went to amsterdam over Xmas new year and it subsequently killed all its leaves I suspect due to underwatering and ppm issues and I never really got back on top of it. It's been going since November so double the amount it is supposed to take, but I decided to use CS and try and make seeds for next time which was semi productive. Got some pollen but I struggled to get much and to store it correctly.

This is Colorado cookies, yield was around 5.5 oz, again with issues but im more than happy with my yield. All my plants were under 600w HPS which gave me heat issues which also stunted them, switched to CMH about a month before harvest and they've loved it.

Here's my blackberry Kush, grew fat dense nugs with little leaves. I didn't even trim it. The only trim needed was on the main cola, and I decided to leave them on Anyway! Biggest bud ive grown to date. Pretty proud. Gave it a jar to itself me and everyone that has tried it has said without doubt it's the best smelling and tasting bud they've ever had. Im sad it's almost gone! Will deffo be on the list for next time.

Finally onto the black dog and Kings kush. Had a tangerine dream that I killed from probable overwatering and mistreatment. As Bob ross said, we don't make mistakes, just happy accidents. They are both around 2 weeks and the bigger one is Kings kush, the black dog has only just shot a root out the side whereas the KK is almost completely root bound.

I've been wanting black dog after seeing a couple of pics of it in flower you've got the right idea just jump in there & get some grow experience it gets better as you go along

Yeah! Turns out my phenotype is a good one. Same leaf formation mentioned by a English guy on YouTube, he said it was his favourite smoke out of 15 other strains! I also got sapphire OG which is another new one by them. Probably gonna pop it along with some others. Got tangie, grapefruit kush and Pineapple Express and sky walker OG,

Yeah ive got that! I got it confused with sapphire OG haha!

So I decided to add more seeds, I was gonna just clone the Kings kush and black dog but that's gonna take too long, and the plants help me destress so the more the better for me!
Im gonna be popping those 4 at the bottom, (one of each) and the candy Kush is gonna sit in the middle of the tent whilst the others will be trellised around the outside with vert lighting once they're big enough.
My tent is 1mx1m so that'll be 6 plants total, 5 around the outside and one in the middle. Think that's enough? Im still debating 1 more of them on the top row, and if it gets too crowded I'll be getting a new tent to finish them and from then on using a veg tent and a flower tent.

Should I start a new thread because I can't change the title or keep this going? My OCD bothers me and knowing that it's more than the strains I first set out is bugging me haha.

Keep this journal going. People add more plants all the time to their journals. I've just doen a C'99 journal which ended up being over 20 strains lol

Got some mykos and azos on them yesterday, here's a picture of the explosive growth over night! There was one tiny little root shooting out and today I woke up to this.



Only problem ive got is algae. My cardboard toilet roll covers aren't cutting it at the moment.

Result of using CS on my trans Siberian, I did it on the Colorado and the dark Devils too but the Colorado didn't give me any pollen. Trans Siberian has given me a bit so what I think I'll do is harvest the top 2/3 of it, sprinkle pollen over what's left and let it run until it gives me seeds. The stink of this plant is like mouldy smelly feet. The high is narcotic, almost like when I first took 30/500 cocodomols haha. Good painkiller but didn't get it as frosty as I hoped but the plant itself is huge with a really nice structure. Definitely want to cross it with the blackberry Kush auto from DP. Maybe even the Colorado cookies if I do that again.

My daft cat dropped a fan on top of one, face down on the poor sucker for about an hour, however it bounced back within a week. This is it 10 days apart since the near annihilation, under 100w of led.





Since it couldnt be much more stressed I just topped it now

Not sure if these were seeds or clones but they seemed pretty uniform before the cat tried to murder them .

What is the desirable pheno and what are the characteristics ? Strain is unknown to me so was nice to your entry!

Looking good! Im about to get ready to go away so im in a mad rush to get my babies sorted haha! I'll try and find the video comment and I'll link you to it later!

So the tall kings Kush and black dog at the back, both have roots out the bottom but the Kings kush is crying out to be put into a bigger cube. I held off so that I could take a few days away and know that they won't need watering as much. The black dog isn't as root bound as the Kings kush, but im sure they will be fine. Ive peppered mykos around the outside of the cube and will also do the same on the inside of the new cube.

Ive also popped a few more seeds. Up next will be Pineapple Express, tangie, and grapefruit krush, still waiting on candy kush to pop!

From left to rigt we have grapefruit, tangie, and Pineapple Express.

Really impressed that all popped within two days and all had grown about 2 inches or more of tap root, and all had left the seed casing. I had to improvise with putting them in their cubes, using a cocktail stick to open a hole completely through the rockwool, insert the seedling then plug each end, I also put mykos and azos in there because why not?!
Im hoping the candy kush will be ok while im away, luckily never had to wait this long for a seed to pop.

Also, if any of you use the paper towel method, I tend to put them in those plastic bags, and I will hang them vertically so my tap roots go straight down, makes putting them in Rockwool so much easier.

Hey guys, I got back to my plants looking Abit sad, did I nute burn them? I used about 500ppm of floranova before I went away, and a load of azos (the ones which convert atmospheric nitogen to plant usable nitrogen) and im wondering if im correct in saying nute burn with some nitrogen toxicity? I sprayed them with a little ph'd water as te humidity in my tent was abit low at 35%, and I watered them with ph'd 5.8 water with nutes at 100ppm as a bit of a flush just in case

Here's grapefruit krush on the left, Tangie in the middle, Pineapple Express on the right which fell over and I used the straw trick someone here told me to keep it propped up. And the closest one which is a few days behind is candy Kush.
