I am contemplating a 3x3 indoor grow tent. Would this light be sufficient to cover the entire canopy during flowering, should I use the entire 9sq ft (undecided if I will just go with 1/2 plants or try to use the entire tent and go with 4 plants)? Doesn't seem to show the coverage of the unit. I have a local store, and it seems that if I give an email address I can get a 30% off coupon, so the I can get it for less than $250 before tax I believe.

Also, a quick cursory google/youtube/RIU search didn't show much about the HTG 3.0 series, so not sure if anyone is using them.

If it really was 360W, then it would be enough. But it's actually 240W (specs on the site). It's also running at 1.96 umol/watt

By running some calculations i came up with:

For 9.0sqf, used for 16.0 Hours a day, using 1.0 LEDS running at 240.0 watts with an efficacy of 1.96 pf
TOTAL LED PPF output of 470.4 μmol/m^2/s in a space of 9.0 ft^2 or 0.836127 m^2.
Daily Light Integral (DLI) @ 1ft = 32 mol.
Totaling at 27 Watts/ft^2.
Total Power consumption = 240.0 Watts. Monthly power consumption = 117 kwh.
AVG PPFD @ 1.0ft = 563 μmol

Basically, it's not enough for "top notch results". But it will yield, and it'll probably be better than average considering the light alone. But for top notch results you need a stronger light... For that kind of LED, you need 35W per sqft

I decided on getting the QB132 4pk of boards. Unsure about the driver.

Mouser HLG-240H-C1750A - 62.37+8 shipping
Arrow HLG-240H-C1750B - 62.77+free ship
Arrow HLG-185h-C1400B - 47.90+free ship
Mouser HLG-185h-C1400A - 51.32+8 shipping

These seem to be the most commonly referenced ones. I plan on using the same tent to veg the flower, for the time being, likely growing 1 or 2 for the first grow or two while I get the hang of indoor growing. Does it really matter the difference between the A and B series, aside from the dimmer being on the driver in the A series, and an external pot to dim on the B series?
