htg supply 400 w problem

i bought a 400 w hps light from htgsupply and it got here friday. i put it together and it worked fine untill today when i went to see my babies the light bulb does not want to turn on and is making a wierd sound, u can see that the light bulb is trying to turn on (u see electric shocks inside) but it doesnt turn on. has anyone else had this problem should i return my the whole setup or should i try to buy another light bulb at a local hydro store to see if is the bulb that is having problems??

First bring ur bulb and try out at the store in one of ther 400 hps ballast if it works then return ur hps setup

Just call and ask them.. they should give you a new one. What kind of ballast are you using? That is some scary shit because I just ordered the same thing there... hope my doesn't have any problems.

i disconnected the ballast for about 45 minutes and now is workin fine

Was it an AgroStar ballast??
