HTGsupply light?

im trying to buy a light from High Tech Garden Supply and was wondering if i could get some feedback on what kind of HPS light i should get. Im wondering what ballast would be best for low power usage very little to no hum and high light output

Iwas checking on the same thing. I am going between the 400w standard ballast or the 400w digital. For all the things you described needing, it sounds like you would prefer the digital. I looked into it for me and it came to about $200 with the shipping. I am not sure how well the ballast is made though. I am probably going with the regular ballast just for the fact that I have a cool secluded spot for the ballast and I have only around $150 to spend.

ya and if you look at the 400 and 600 watt digitals they are actually only ten dollars apart for 45000 more lumens

Yea, I saw that too. My veg area is 2'x2'x 6' and the flower area is 3'x2'x8' so 400w is overkill already. I need to draw the line or I'll talk myself into a 1000w with a light mover. I have no self control.

I have purchased 5 of their 400 watt conversion ballast over the last year and have had good results with their product. They are the standard remote ballast (not digital) and run very quiet. Have not had any failures with them. And their customer service is top notch.
