The Black D.O.G. is excellent. In my experience, it takes cool temps to bring out the dark colors, but at 78F, mine has a nice bright orange glow to the buds with darker fan leaves. The potency and taste is really good with decent yields and fast finish. You won't be disappointed.

This will be my first grow outdoors I'm very excited. I got5 seeds so hopefully everything goes fine..I'm hoping to find a mother with a nice pheno out of the five and try it indoors

Yes, they are two different companies. CSI: Humboldt are located in California, but Humboldt Seed Org is out of the U.K. Both make some good stuff.

You guys got me excited. I got 3 packs of Bubba's Gift, Black D.O.G., Purple Trainwreck, Blue Dream and Green Crack that I'll be trying out one at a time a 2x4 tent after my greenhouse grow is finished.

Bubbas Gift was very slow in veg no vigor at all,I wouldn't recommend it.

Pro mix potting soil under T8s for veg,it wasn't my technique its the strain.Whoever decides to grow it better plan on extra time to get them to there size before flipping them.Seems like they put more energy in growing a thick main stalk then any other growth,that is feminised seed version of there Bubbas Gift anyway.

I have a 180 watt T5 HO that vegges very slow so I stopped using it.

Its not the T8s,had there Bubba Kush 2.0 and Green Crack under same lights.Did 3 Bubba gifts and all three were almost identical but one did show a little more branching outward.There Bubba 2,0 and Green Crack absolutely dominates the Gift in growth and vigor.Like I said the gifts seem to just sit/squat and put out a thick stalk with very slow growth,I love a good solid structured plant but not by giving up speed in height and leaf production.

I crossed a fem colloidal silver sprayed ghost train haze 1 over black d.o.g . named the strain ghost dog. Will be planting those seeds on the weekend. The black d.o.g was an indica short very stinky female. Hoping crossing it over gth1 will make it more potent and taller
