defiantly not that much soil. during the full outdoor season i use a 100 yards in 99 200 gallon smart pot.

for this greenhouse i may use 20 25 yards of soil.

That would be 1 load,700 bucks right?with out perlite...and what mix would the soil be?

700? lol , i wish it was that cheap. it will cost me a couple grand, i get a local mix for around $80 a yard.

and i never get bulk soil with perlite. i don't ever really use perlite because i don't want that shit all over my farm. it pollutes the earth(non biodegradable).

rice hauls work just as good in my opinion. i grow some big plants in 200 gallon pots with 0 perlite.

now when i start plants i defiantly use bag soil with perlite like Roots Organic 707. but not bulk soil.bongsmilie

I got llamas this year and there poo is my new perlite! Slow releasing nitrogen. A single pellet can take three years to break down. And I love 707 for starter and all around actually. Hey Humboldt can you refresh my memory with the organic mix fertilizer you used last year? Think you had five gal buckets? Momma something maybe? Sorry I didn't write it down and thanks in advance.

Humboldt do you use rice hulls in your 200 gallon pots? I didnt look too hard but I never did see perlite where I am, BUT rice hulls would be easy considering more rice is grown there than anything else
