humidifer cleaning

Hey as most people who must use a humidifier in the dry winter know, it gets dirty fast. I use my RO water in my humidifier but bacteria/algae always builds. I bought some fluid that you mix in to prevent bacteria growth to keep your humidifier clean. I am wondering if it is safe to use this liquid in the water that is dispersed into the air of my veg room.

i wouldn't think it would be a good idea, i just clean the res with bleach and run some diluted vinegar thru it but not in my veg room.

I was thinking of running it through outside the room but then the humidity will drop inside. Oh well gotta do it.
