I live in a very dry climate, and trying to come up with cheap ways to help cool my grow closet. I was wondering if anyone in dry climates has tried using a humidifier? It sounds like they normally will lower the ambient temp just slightly, but the whole thing kinda strikes me as the same way a swamp cooler works, so if I put a fan in front of the humidifier it seems like this would cause quite a lot of 'swamp cooling' action... Was even thinking of keeping frozen ice packs I can rotate in the water basin to keep the water nice and cool.
