Humidity and control

so is humidity REALLy that important during the veg stage? Whats the best way to keep the humidity up? Buy a humidifer...? i would guess that they also make a humidity meter (other than an outdoor barometer), is there anything specific i should be looking for?

you can actually get a cheap thermometer with a humidity meter on the bottom for a few bucks at the hardware store. humidity during veg is important for one reason.. the higher the humidity (70-80% RH) the more females you will get from seed.. the lower the humidity (under 60% RH or so) will yield more males...

c'mon now people. we have all these posts about this and that but nobody really says anything about humidity numbers and the ideal ways to keep them right. i need the info. please.

hey if u dont have good hum u could alway have a glass of water in the box or room
and u could have a pool type thing in there and have the fan blowing on the top of it
or just use a spray bottle and mist every now and then
