humidity dome cloning

Hey anyone know how to clone properly using a humidity dome? I had to top my female and managed to save 4 branches for cloning. I've dabbed the stems in clonex and plopped them into pre-soaked rockwool... now they are sitting in the humidity dome but I don't know what I need to do about lighting. . Can the dome be in darkness or should I be placing the dome under a light for 18/6 hours.

Low level lighting will be fine... ie. even one CFL will be fine. The more the merrier though.

What do you have for a setup currently?

I use a 2ft T5 now, last few yrs been a 125w CFL, a heat mat under, dome over, 20/4, worked so well I turned my aero cloner bucket into a veg dwc bucket, lol

18-24 for seedling n cloning I find.... I use 20/4, def. no less than the 18/6 (say if ur conserving heat n power)

18/6 will be fine. My preference in my veg and clone tents is 24/0, but you'll be good.

mine sits right over the dome like 2" over it. CFL isnt harsh enough to burn them, n the humidity helps diffuse the light anyhow... Id back it off on a 400MH sure, but CFLs, as close as temps allow.
