hello there, i'm growing some weed and i believe it's too dry in our tent. the leaves are all quite thin and a bit... idk kinda fuzzy feeling. anyhow, i am almost certain it is a problem because of the low humidity; it's winter and dry as balls here.
i bought a humidifier yesterday and after moving about the room, we finally decided to stick it in the tent. well, we can't get the humidity above ~48%. meh. the humidifier works fine but there is just so much air moving through the tent it's pretty much impossible to get it above 50%... unless it's like 80%. even then, that's only viable if the big fan (the one that cools the light) is off. obviously we can't have the air cooled hood not being air cooled or the tent goes to like 83*F. not tragic but we'd really like to keep everything between 70 and 79*F. soooooo basically the only time we can get humidity over say, 48% is when the light is off for six hours. and i'm not sure going from 80% humidity to ~45% every day is a good idea. the filter/fan is on it's lowest setting and we just cannot get it more humid in there!
our plants are in veg and about 3.5 weeks old, from sprout time. we have a few different strains going at once, and all of them are presenting similar symptoms. our blue dream has gone so far as to change the shape of it's leaves, lol.

any suggestions? should i get another humidifier? lol. any guesses on how much of a problem is this going to present and in what ways?

but i just went in there and moved the humidifier to an opposite corner bc we leave one of the zippers part way open to keep it cool... and the humidifier was right in that spot. maybe this will help...
