Ive tried bowl of water (not sure if it should be warm, or cold..usually people TRY to lower humidity..not the opposite lol). Ive tried some towels, the highest it has raised to was 30.

Im in veg too. :wall: Not sure how much trouble im in. Help would be greatly appreciated. Think ill have to settle for a humidifier from wallyfuck

Edit: Since I really didnt want to spend 20 bucks, I looked up cheap ways to keep humidity up for your girl. I was told that by using FINE mist that is warm it can also help the plant a little bit. Im not talking about a DRAMATIC increase, but just to keep her from drying up while veg'n. I understand you should have it up around 50 for veg..while my humidity right now is perfect for flowering lol, i need 2 more weeks!!!

its not that bad i did whole veg at 30, just try and mist and have good circulation
Yea its pretty close to my window, temps are pretty low, night time it stays pretty cold in there (Ive read they can do fine as low as 55F). It gets air from a pc fan and exhaust the hot air from another pc so its fine there. Even with lights on its only at 70-75F because of the winter season. Fuck sometimes its at 65-70 (cfls, 450watts of them though) Sometimes im afraid it gets to cold but ill think about a humidifier, or some big towels and soak them up real good. Thanks guys.

I'd be more worried about the temp ranges than humidity change. That's a pretty big temp range (55- 75). Some strains don't handle that too good.

To save money, go to a thrift store to buy the humidifier, only if you want to. I have a humidifier and with it on putting 2 gallons of water in the air per day, it only gets to 30% or 40%. I wish I didn't start them out on 24/7 under HIDs, I can't mist them. But the growth has been ok on 6 of the 7.

If you're spraying and aren't feeding, you might want to give it a try. Not every day, but every few days you might want to give them a tiny ammount of fert. to help growth. Fox Farm is the industry standard, but I just found this stuff and it's the only one I've seen that has every nute, the minor ones as well as the major ones. http://dyna-gro.com/

You'd probably get more growth from getting the nutes then from getting a humidifier. And you might want to stabalize the temp a little more so there's not suce a big range.

Thanks for the tip. As far as the temps Im trying to control, the thing is next to my window and sometimes ill forget to shut it a little bit (when I open it in the morning theres more air, too cold at night), so ill definately watch that.

I have been misting my babies since someone recommended it for low humidity, and ive also read it in another forum. Grow Big just came in so ill give it a shot. I already had her watered yesterday so ill wait another day or 2 before I add some fert. She needs it bad either way. Thanks for the tip Danny :leaf:
