humidity Q

Perlite is basically glass I've bought it before it had a warning label so I looked it up years ago. Any movement that creates friction grinds these things to dust very easy. I've seen the aftermath of using this in a fish tank as a bio filter and it is kills fish with infections in gills. so I really don't consider it safe to be around things I need to spray / fan. are there any other options when fruiting in a tote to keep humidity up?

i use perlite with great success, simply rinse it in a strainer first. If that is not suitable for you I recommend hydroton, they are small ball shaped pellets that are fantastic for fruiting chambers aswell as hydroponics. can be found in hydro shops they are essentially clay pebbles
