Humidity Question

hi i have 5 Plants in flowering and im wondering if my humiditys alright the humidity during lights on is 57 rh and temp with lights on is 71 f but lights off the temp is 61 f and 79 rh is this ok? and if not can sumone tell me how to lower room humidity and what is ideal room humidity with both lights on and lights off?

That's not too bad the night time rh is pretty high, you should either get a dehumidifier (they can get pretty expensive, but check craig's list), also more exhaust should work assuming the rest of your house isn't at such a high humidity. Your temps are looking pretty good although once again it could be a bit higher during lights off. Where do you live that temps are that low right now?

i live in australia, sydney.

Cool, just seemed like awfully low indoor temps for this time of year. Anyhow, how much cfm are you venting for exhaust and what is the cubic feet of your room?

an RH during the flowering phase that is acceptable is 50-60%. You are fine.

Nevermind i Spent 3 hours changing round my setup then monitored new setup overnight and its seems to be excellent now lights on temps now range from 73f-75f humidty is now always 63 rh is this ok? and lights off temps about 63-65f

humidity is only a problem when bud mold is involved.been growing hydro since 1973,have had various humidity levels,and never ever have had bud mold or problems with insects(spider mites)people really do worry to damn much,they spend to much time worrying about ideal conditions where in reality mj is a very very strong plant.dont worry so much and keep it green!!!!good luck with your grow!!

ideal humidity is anywhere from 50-65 percent in flower and 60-75 percent in veg.

ideal grow temps are 75 degrees f. with lights on and 65 degrees with them off.
