Humidity vs Watering??

As my plants grow I am running into a problem. I will be gone for a week (summer camp) and unable to water my plants. They are 4 weeks and 2 days old and 7 inches tall. Could I setup a bucket of water and increase my humidity to help my plants since they will be lacking watering? I am capable of coming back and watering them myself but the hour and a half drive home and hour and a half drive back is a bit far and rather large wast of gas if you ask me.

So, can I use higher humidity while im gone or should I not worry at all? And if I should how would I increase my humidity? Its 3 plants total I need to be watered.

Place the container the plant is in in another larger container...and fill the outside container 1/2 way full of pottng soil. (so if it's a 1 gallon, put it in a 2 gallon and so on)

Water it good. Water your plant. The combo of the mass of the two...and the extra dirt on the outside should hold you over for a week.

good luck

well if you are talking about btdt's method then youo can get those round totes with rope handles, i see them at grocrey stores, for like putting ice and beer or ice and a keg into.

Well i was just wondering since if you put water in there.. during lights on cycle the water evaporates.. then when lights off it kinda creates that "morning dew" effect (but not dramatically). I had a small container with 650ml water and it has depleted a bit so im assumming its working ill be trying that and seeing how long untill i need to water again.. Right now they look perfectly watered which is great.
