Humidity

My question is what is what's the difference between having a good humidity 40-60% and having humidity at very low levels? I just bought a humidifier and it seemed to put my humidity level at 50% which is good I just wanna figure out what humidity will actually do for your plants?

dosent let the leaf edges dry and start to curl up

theres a lot more.

pot grows best when humidity is 40 to 60% as with temp,consistant humidity promotes healthy even growth.
relative humidity level affects the transpiration rate of the stomata.
when the humidity is high,water evaporates slowly.the stomta close,transperation slows and so dose plant growth.
water evaporates quickly into dryer air causing stomata to open,increasing transpiration,fluid flow and growth

transpiration in arid conditions will be rapid only if there is enough water avalible for the roots to draw in.
if the water is inadequate,stomata will close to protect the plant from dehydration,causing growth to slow

Ok thanks that's the input needed, In my hydro grow my level's where only around 30% now that I bought a humidifier i bumped it up to 50% plus that's circulating more air which is good.
