Your pretty much screwed if you need to increase humidity level more than a small percentage,putting out bowls of water,misting the room air & wet towels will bring it up a percentage or two but thats it normally.
Table top humidifiers can be had for $50 or less,you could also use a vaporizor (not the kind you smoke from),if you have no bucks for supplies try goodwill or salvation army,they allways have old junky humidifiers & such on the cheap.

What helped retain some of that moisture in my cab was turning down the exhaust fan.
