Hunter Biden’s Laptop

It's just a procedural ruling, something to do with venue problems. New charges for the same thing will be filed in another state. I'm hoping that this sets a precedent for monitoring of family of presidents (and maybe other offices, such as SCOTUS) to ensure they don't engage in criminal behavior while their father, sibling or son are in office. Makes one wonder what else has been going on in other families of people holding a high office.

But still. Hunter Biden. Late paying his taxes and owning a gun while being a drug addict sure does seem to get Republicans all hot and bothered. Imagine if they find out what Ivanka was doing while her father was in office.

Somebody in Biden's family should look into suing Republican leaders and Fox News for defamation of character when they talk about the Biden Crime family without any proof.
The republicans are trying to treat Hunter Biden differently than the average american. They want to apply a different standard to him. He should be treated like any average american that commits these same violations. Most americans that are late on their taxes do not receive jail time. And what proof is there that Hunter was a drug addict? Some photos of a white powder doesn't prove anything, was that powder lab tested?

He didn't just falsify one of those gun background check forms YALL are always so hot and bothered about, the firearm was then illegally disposed of within a few hundred feet of A SCHOOL. That should get most normal people hot and bothered. The fact that something like that goes from a hot button issue with your crowd to no big deal because it happened to one of daddy bidens boys makes your entire stance on weapons (and a handful of other things) laughable. Partisan politics are such a weird funny thing to observe once you dont pick a side anymore lol

I thought republicans were all about "No gun laws"....now they are going after Hunter Bidens Second Amendment right to bear arms. These guys can't make up their minds. lol

How many people are prosecuted for lying on ATF form 4473?

Americans Bought 13.9 Million Firearms in 2019

The odds of being charged for lying on the form are virtually nonexistent. In the 2019 fiscal year, when Hunter Biden purchased his gun, federal prosecutors filed just 298 cases.

There's more to it than most realize. I don't know if you've read the story or not.

Is anybody defending Hunter from facing justice for the crimes he did? It's not like even Hunter Biden is denying he did anything illegal. From what I've read, the plea deal wasn't anything extraordinary compared to what other people face for the same crimes. It all blew up when a judge saw issues with the deal, which isn't anything unusual either. The difference between the GOP MAGA stance on this subject and what any rational person is asking is a matter of severity of his sentence. His sentence should be in line with what other people get who commit the same crime. That's also all I'm asking for when it comes to the shit defendant Donald Trump did too.

It strikes me as shouting about a molehill in order to take attention away from the mountain.

The maga press is sinking effort into portraying Biden and family as systematically corrupt.

Meanwhile, the maga press is choosing not to cover the vast and (every day more cohesive) evidence that not only defendant, but defendant’s family and associates have been in a cascade of limitingly corrupt schemes.

It is a real headscratcher to me that two out of three Republicans poll as saying defendant did nothing wrong. It’s as if the voting public has something like a malware problem.

They don't care about Hunter's personal life. They care because it looks a lot like Joe Biden might be compromised. It sure looks fishy to me.
If it can be proven that Joe Biden committed a corrupt act to protect his son or obtain some personal gain then he can fry right alongside defendant Donald Trump. I ask you. What evidence from a credible source makes your claim worth listening to?

Now, then, let's talk about Ivanka and Jerrod Trump, shall we? Is there any evidence that they should be investigated for using their positions in high office for personal gain? What evidence from a credible sours makes that claim worth listening to?

How about if we test the credibility of Time magazine?

Biased, true but highly factual in their reporting. How about we set the bar for credibility at "mostly factual"?

I don't think they are claiming Hunter is a worse criminal than defendant Trump is. They say Hunter is getting special privilege. I don't see it but that's the claim. I don't think what they say is backed by evidence but it scores political points so they make it.

Other than Hunter being a stake the republicans want to drive through Joe's heart you have a guy who's life went off the rails for a time and he seem to have straightened out. He paid his back taxes and even when he was a mess he decided that he was not fit to own a gun and disposed of it. Did he realize that a school was close by and did he think someone would rifle through stinky garbage looking for something, maybe good to eat? Maybe not. But all that aside, what purpose would it serve to keep him behind bars at the public's dime? Would it rehabilitate him? Make him see the error of his ways? Or is it just a political witch hunt?

That's true if you snort coke of a hookers ass it ok lol!
What are you saying about the hooker's ass? I had an ex-girlfriend that serviced lonely men for almost a year. You could look at it as doing the community a service keeping coke snorters off the street (wait, she worked the streets, I will have to think about this one.)

Well it's good he got his life straightened out lol.
See, just how you frame things.

I think it’s a way to say Democrats are no better and thus not qualified to hold Repugs to account, at a level of sentiment.

“Let him who is without sin cast the first stone, so quit it with the rocks already!”
