Well Im going to get this thread off of the ground! So last week i shot a decent buck and a nice doe ]. I fried some doe strap delicious! I then went and borrowed my uncles electric meat grinder and purchased the neat baggies and a bunch of shoulder pork, ground beef 70/30 , and some bacon ands and pieces. when i was done with my grinding and packing i had 25 pounds of hot sausage, 25 pounds of breakfast sausage and fifty pounds burger. Then Saturday i shot two babmis 100 pounders in the woods out back made steaks man bambi strap is so tender and delicious its like aged beef with flavor.

I should have killed four deer but they were everywhere early on and the last part of bow season I did not see much.I regret letting those three walk as high as our liscense are now.I pay a butcher 45 bucks to cut and package my deer,I live in TN. so big deer are here they are just hard to kill.Ive killed two monsters here but thats been 10 years ago.

So far the deer this year here in MN have been tasty mostly acorn and corn fed im lookin to get a few more for the winter i will shoot a monster as long as its not old and grey ill save it for the trophy hunters id rather eat young does and babies though i have had good luck i havent gotten a crappy tasting buck yet . I used to go to the processors but it got to be so spendy i might as well have just bought meat at a store. Plus i like knowing its all mine and the entire proces had the upmost standards in sanitation.

Couple of pics i got off my trail camera today. Appears to be a 9 pointer... heard there's a giant in our woods... hope to get a picture of that as well. :bigjoint:

My guess he's at least 5 years old. He's a fat boy. I took a picture of a picture, so doesn't give it justice.
