Hurry-up-honey

honey oil is good.

All you need is some butane gas, a bottle and a coffee filter, and a bowl to catch the oil in.

I make two lots of oil... the first I make with fresh bud, then I take the bud out (it's frozen by now) then crumble it into a box, and allow to dry before making some more.

put the fresh bud and trim into the bottle, place the filter at the open end, then you need to make a small hole in the bottle for the nozzle of the gas tin to fit. Push the gas into the bottle, the liquid butane will freeze the trich's and push them off, through the filter at the bottom and into the bowl below.

Next you can either wait a few days for the liquid butane to evap', or you can place the bowl in a sink of fairly hot water, and evap' the gas much quicker. Like 5 minutes.

You won't get much off the fresh run, but it will be something. The dry run is where you'll get the most oil. If you don't want to wait for the bud to dry, put it in a dark very warm place, like next to a boiler. After the freeze, and the crumbling the bud will be dry in around 6-8 hours when placed next to a boiler.

Just if you're in a rush.

great stuff! what kinda butane do you use? and do you have to freeze the bud/clipping? and might be a silly question, but how do you use it? wouldnt the oil dampen the bud?

For the first time today, and yesterday. I let the gas evap' on its own. I had the time, so I thought why not.

It only takes a few hours to evap'... I was amazed. And I'm sure I got more out of it than super evap'ing it in hot water. Never again, will I heat up the butane to evap' it quicker.

let it dry for a week or 2. it turns to caramel.

At the moment I don't have the luxury to allow it to dry for a couple of weeks. I smoke it in joints... while it's still fresh I just use a knife and paste it along rolling papers.

Oh honey oil. I L-O-V-E honey oil but hubby won't let me make any.





He's afraid I'll blow the house up.
