sharon iv been following you post under the radar and just wanted to say congrats on getting all the help lol iv been posting for weeks trying to get some help lol ... i guesse it helps to be a chick lol maybe i should make a new account.. im coming up to cloneing soon im goin for 300 and only flower 100 at a time veg the others till thier time has come and i was just wondering how the clones seem to be doin with no dome or areoponic system id like to just buy a bunch of new buckets and some more soil itd be deffinatly cheaper then investing in a large areoponic system.. p.s your not to far from where i am lol ... dont take that creepy just saying its nice to see some east coaster posting on here lol!

I know this may not be the proper thread to ask. But I am going to ask it anyway. I am thinking of purchasing a load more seeds (I have a big income tax refund coming $5,000+). I have been reading about feminized seeds and I am considering purchasing online (my seed bank in Kenisington does not sell them) but I am also considering simpy buying Northern Lights regular seeds they are pretty cheap online. Any thoughts..I keep reading about hermies on the feminized seeds and about the work in removing male plants with regular seeds.any thoughts ..expierence..
I have decided to make a real go of this..I am going to convert my husband's den into a grow room as well..your expierence is invaluable.. and guy's note I live in Canada..so I a not sweating the police...not to say that I am not going to vigilant and carefull..just that the penalities here are less substantial. I am considering purchasing 500 seeds or so..and perhaps setting up a ebb and flow tables.. I am not going to plant all at once...but say 20 a day or so so I can manage them..let me know what you think.

Would you suggest purchasing feminized or regular and which type do you think would work..I hve also been reading about the dwarf autoflower types..have you tried the feminized seeds or the autfolower

I would be careful if ordering something like 500 seeds...seems like SOMEONE will notice. But as you said, your in CA, so it's a little different.
If you don't want to deal with males, get feminized. Autoflowering/dwarfs are great for small spaces or quick yields (9ish weeks) but you don't seem to have a problem with space.
"Dealing" with males isn't that hard though...you just kill them when they start growing balls.
Unless you want to use them to make your own seeds. But maybe you should take it one step at a time. Or not.

just order a 10 pack of some bomb $200ish seeds. germ all and save a couple moms and take off your couple hundred clones off your mom plants. done deal! Sharen McGee is that you?

I am not Sharen McGee...it's Sharon with O..from Newfoundland originally. $200 for 10 seeds. That's to much + I don't want to do this forever....want to make enough to buy a little restaurant that me and my sister can run where I live now (wont say where I am wise now).
But the autoflower sounds very good 9 weeks..that would be quick

why are people still telling her not to do this ..... she has explained several times she wants to go threw with this...let her give her advice on her plants and answer her questions shes not goin to stop .. she says she has everything covered accept the knowledge of growing... so lets help her there instead of telling her to just not do it at all.

Thanks illb...I can't find the digital camera (I think may loser husband may have taken it) though I am going to try with my cell phone...it's a cheap fido phone I just need to figure out how to send the pics from the phone to me e-mail. But basically I have the clones on top of a file folder box (so the clones are about a foot off the ground the box is closed and the clones are in plastic red beer cups. Then I hung the flourecent light just above (it's in a closet the lghts are hooked around the bar (where I hung my clothes off). Thats really it. Though I have been misting every couple of hours during commercial breaks . They dry so quick..I mist come back in a bit and there dry.

where else is she goin to go if she lives where i think she is she cant put them outside because of to much rain and no sun lots of fog pretty sure she gets like maybe half a month of sun shine threw the summer and posibility of and early winter so unless she has another inside area theres no point in trying to persway her to not do it there i didnt mean to cause i big fight and i was jumping down your throat ...bong hit ...relax

periods are wonderful things. you should try using them to end your sentences, it makes it easier to read, and takes less time. also is less likely to be misconstrued...
if i were the one with the problem (which ironically i am), i would either grow at a trusted family member's house (with permission and partnership), rent a space somewhere (can be done for 100$ a month if you really try), or sell the equipment to put money down on a restaurant. if that's the goal, i think that's where i would aim....
i'm not trying to start a fight either. just trying to save someone a nightmare, as i've seen this scenario a dozen times, mostly with hurt feelings as a happy ending, prison as the generality.
