What is the best way to size my mini split system? Do I calc all the btu's of stuff I have in my room i.e. 1k hps bulbs, fans, Co2, and etc? What do I use for the rating in my state? I live around No Cal? Help...Help....Help...
What I'm going to get is a dual mini split one for veg and the other for flower. I think I need at least a 2ton system, but the seer rating seems to drop fast when you get bigger.

bump.......
Most Residential A/c systems are calculated by the square footage and ceiling height. An average is 400 Sq. ft per ton of air in a room with an eight foot ceiling. Also each ton of air will put out 12,000 BTU's. Make sure though that you take into consideration your ceiling height, number of exterior walls, insulation around the room and any equipment that puts out heat in that room. Let me know if you have any more questions.
