Hey what's up? I'm a hydro guy switching to dirt and want to know whats a good dirt mixture and some simple nutrients to use? I just got tired of all the pumps, timers, and all the water yoou need. I have 16 really nice blackjacks ready to go so any quick help would be appreciated.

Soiless mixtures are good if you have nutes. Storebought premix deserves some bag guano or worm castings, maybe even some perlite to lighten up the mix.
Decide if you wanna feed nutes from day one and have complete control over it from day one, or buy a premix with nutes so you get to guess 1-2months in what will burn the leaves.
Also, hempy buckets are an other good way to grow some good weed. You can use your hyrdoton if you have any left over from your hydro setup.

I'm using humboldt mix right now, it is the softest fluffiest soil I've used! I used foxfarm for years but got tired of it, got great results from roots organic aurora blend.

Miracle-Gro's Potting Mix is your best bet as growing media. I also use their All Purpose Plant Food (24-8-16) for the vegatative stage.
After switching the lights I use "Liquid Bloom Plant Food" from a company called Dyna-Gro (3-12-6).

This trio will be all you need to be successful. Works for me!

I use Fox farms ocean forest which seems to work great. Also, put some pebbles at the bottom of your pots so that water can drain easier and also put a layer of perlite on top of your soil. this will slow evaporation from the soil and will allow you to water less frequently.

I've been using Fox Farm Ocean Forest as well. Comes loaded with nutrients so you don't have to feed at all for the entire first month. I also agree with nomiss' suggestion. You should always get some pebbles to help with drainage regardless of what mix you decide to go with.
